Every year I open up my books to a handful of weddings for folks who are looking for film coverage of their celebration. I am especially drawn to queer, outdoor, and/or small weddings (and definitely elopements!)

Holly was so receptive and excited about the vibe we wanted and sent portfolio examples of similar weddings they had shot as we made tough decisions around choosing a photographer. Once we decided to move forward, she met with us to talk about details — helping us think intentionally about photos as we planned the day (and deciding where to stand day of, light matters!). In this process, she invited us to share photos we liked of ourselves and others we had pulled off Pinterest making sure they understood our vision. As things went mildly off script day of, because life and Seattle traffic, Holly was flexible and communicative working with us to make sure everything we had planned stayed possible.
