Phoebe in Studio
Hello readers, happy Monday!
I am very happy to be dropping into your inboxes today. Despite my vow to have a slow summer, I have once again crammed my schedule full with all the things I need to do and want to do. This season is just such an enticing time for saying yes, yes, yes.
Of course, a huge part of that is the fact that warm and sunny weather is ideal for photoshoots, so both my business and my passion projects are keeping me very busy. I have so much to share with you and what feels like very little time to share it. Let’s get to it!
First off, my new business cards are here! It feels so good to have something tactile to give to folks after so many years without that. Especially since I was using Instagram as a sort of “calling card” these last few years, a real business card feels like an important part of my marketing autonomy.
Secondly, I recently did another shoot with Phoebe Wahl, this time in her gorgeous new studio in Bellingham. I am SO stoked to share these images with you. Phoebe is sharing her own favorites from the shoot over on her new Substack The Wahlflower today in case you want to check them out.
Every time I look at these photos I just feel so HAPPY. Shooting artists in their workspaces is one of my favorite things to do, and obviously Phoebe’s artwork and aesthetic is incredibly fulfilling to capture; her focus on vibrant colors, nature themes, and inclusivity perfectly aligns with the themes of my own work.
That’s all for now! This upcoming weekend I will be on the Olympic Peninsula attending SisterLand’s Summer Camp and then photographing Fabled Flora on their flower farm in Port Townsend. It is going to be peak summer fun, and I’ll definitely be sharing some images from those adventures in a newsletter to come.
Until then,
Holly
